Unlocking opportunities through networking: DTI’s Pascual empowers local businesses to thrive

Trade Secretary Fred Pascual highlighted the critical role of expanding networks in driving the success of local businesses.

Emphasizing the importance of establishing connections and partnerships, Pascual underscored during the Business Network International (BNI) Philippine National Conference last July 8, that integration into the global value chain and business opportunities hinge on these collaborations.

By bringing together individuals with diverse perspectives, experiences, and skill sets, innovation thrives.

The BNI Philippine National Conference serves as a platform for business owners and collaborators in the country to exchange knowledge and foster professional connections.

During his speech at the event, Pascual noted the power of networking in linking businesses with potential clients, customers, partners, suppliers, and investors.

BNI Philippines is a prominent business and professional networking organization with a membership spanning 77 countries and encompassing over 300 professions.

With more than 1,300 Filipino and overseas business owners as members, BNI Philippines aims to encourage cooperation among local enterprises and strengthen their ability to navigate external market forces while forging alliances that transcend national borders.

Pascual encouraged BNI members to explore opportunities for global exports. He referenced the Philippine Export Development Plan 2023-2028 (PEDP) and advocacy for the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and other preferential trade agreements as avenues for firms to enhance their export capabilities and access foreign markets.

In today’s ever-evolving business landscape, one truth remains resolute: success favors those who dare to transcend conventional norms,” said Pascual, emphasizing the importance of embracing innovation and forward-thinking strategies.
