Could Baby Dolls be P-pop’s next breakout sensation?
The rising girl group has reached another major milestone after “Oohh Lala Baby” climbed to No. 1 on YouTube’s Trending for Music chart, capping a viral run that’s turning the quartet into one of the hottest new acts in OPM.
The achievement came as the group celebrated Grand Baby Dolls Day on It’s Showtime, following the back-to-back success of “Oohh Lala Baby” and “Ikembot Mo.”
“We’re so happy and thankful for all the love you’ve shown ‘Oohh Lala Baby’ and ‘Ikembot Mo.’ We couldn’t have reached these milestones without your support. Thank you so much to everyone!” the group said.
The numbers suggest Baby Dolls is just getting started.
Since its release, the “Oohh Lala Baby” music video has surpassed 3.3 million YouTube views, while its lyric video has crossed 9 million views. The song has also become a TikTok favorite, generating more than 6.6 million posts using its official sound.
On Spotify, the track has amassed over 4.2 million streams, landed on the platform’s OPM Rising playlist, and climbed to No. 3 on the Viral Hits Philippines playlist. The group has also attracted nearly 1 million monthly listeners.
Meanwhile, follow-up single “Ikembot Mo” continues to gain momentum with more than 4.2 million YouTube views, 2.4 million TikTok posts, and 2.2 million Spotify streams.
The group’s debut EP, Zoom Baby Dolls, has likewise performed strongly, collecting nearly 7 million Spotify streams, while its lyric videos have amassed more than 13.5 million YouTube views.
With a string of viral hits, booming streaming numbers, and a rapidly growing fan base, Baby Dolls is proving it has the momentum to become one of P-pop’s next big success stories.
