Shawarma Shack has been recognized by Kiwanis International as CSR Company of the Year.
The company was awarded for its core value of commitment in providing high quality products to its consumers, and inspiring initiatives to impact communities outside the organization.
President and CEO Walther Uzi Buenavista and his wife, VP and COO Patricia Collantes-Buenavista, accepted the award.
For the past few years, Shawarma Shack has always been present to aid in relief operations during natural calamities and disasters. In coordination with Philippine Coast Guards and Philippine National Police, the company held relief operations to the victims of typhoons, earthquakes, and flooding in areas including Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, and Ilocos Sur.
Kiwanis International is a global community of clubs, members and partners dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time. Each year, the organization recognizes companies and teams that have a similar vision in improving the lives of the communities within their reach.
