George Royeca, the co-founder and CEO of Angkas, has taken to social media to publicly voice his support for the government and share his valuable insights following a forum with Department of Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista.
In a heartfelt message posted on his personal Facebook account, affectionately referring to himself as “Mister Angkas,” Royeca solidified his commitment and alliance with the government’s transportation programs.
He emphasized the significance of private partnerships in addressing the transportation challenges faced by the country, a sentiment that resonated strongly with him.
He wrote, “Attended the Makati Business Club Forum yesterday where DOTr Secretary Jaime Bautista talked about raising PH transport to global standards. He highlighted the importance of having private partnerships in helping address the country’s transportation challenges—and I couldn’t agree more.”
Royeca further highlighted that Angkas has always been driven by a mission to assist the government in providing an affordable and accessible transportation option for Filipinos. Since its establishment in 2016, Angkas has continually served as a steadfast partner to the government, diligently working towards fulfilling this goal.
