The Rotary Club of the Philippines will be hosting the first woman president of Rotary International.
Zone 10A, or the Rotary Districts in the country will be the next to host RI President Jennifer Jones in her visit to the Philippines from November 23 to 29.
As part of her “Imagine Impact Tour”, she will be assessing how Rotary Clubs all over the world are creating positive change and lasting impact within the communities. Along with a panel, Jones will be addressing topics such as LGBTQ rights, women empowerment, community empowerment and economic inclusion, cultural inclusion and peace, pride in Rotary journey, and gender equality and bridging intergenerational gaps in Rotary.
She will also be attending the 53rd Charter Anniversary Gala of the Rotary Club of Makati West (RCMW), the biggest rotary club in the Philippines.
“We shall endeavor to showcase Filipino hospitality and culture, and show our RI president why Filipinos are probably the world’s most dedicated Rotarians,” RCMW President Gil Chua said.
