Colourette founder and CEO Nina Ellaine Cabrera shared the ups and downs of not having a mentor while starting her business.
“When I started my entrepreneurship journey, I did not have the privilege of having a mentor. I had to commit mistakes to learn from them. I had to experience problems first hand so I would understand its repercussions,” she said on her Instagram account.
However, Nina opened up about how she gained more knowledge and how important it is to learn from mistakes and to seize opportunities.
“One of my personal advocacies is to help budding entrepreneurs by serving as their virtual mentor online. I share my business journey so other founders can learn from them. This way, they wouldn’t need to commit the same mistakes anymore,” she said.
