Boulevard Holdings Inc. (BHI), led by real estate mogul Jocel Panlilio, has secured the support of an international hotel group for marketing Fridays Boracay Beach Resort.
BHI in a regulatory filing said subsidiary Fridays Holdings Inc. has entered into a license agreement with Radisson Hotels Asia Pacific Investments PTE. Ltd. to market the Fridays Boracay Beach Resort as a property under the “Radisson Collection” brand.
BHI said Fridays Boracay will be one of the first five-star hotels to be aided with an international hotel brand on white beach.
Radisson Hotels Group has 10 distinctive brands and more than 1,160 hotels in operation and under development in EMEA and APAC.
The group is recognized as 4th Best Employer in the Travel & Leisure Industry by Forbes.
According to BHI, the Fridays Boracay Beach Resort is set to construct a new Fridays with about 110 room keys, two to four restaurants and bars, jungle gym, infinity pool with lap pool and a beach wedding pavilion.
Fridays Boracay Beach Resort is expected to welcome new and returning guests by 2026.
Fridays has not resumed its operations since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
