RJ Ledesma’s Mercato Centrale Group has partnered with the National Development Company to launch the government’s first omnichannel e-commerce platform.
During the National MSME Summit 2023, Ledesma and representatives of the NDC beta-launched the app and turned it over to the management of the Department of Trade and Industry.
The app aims to assist local businesses to expand their online presence and showcase Filipino products.
Mercato Centrale Group, which provided the technology for the platform, has incubated many food concepts that have become successful. These include Manang’s Chicken, Mamalou’s, Shawarma Bros, Brasas, Bawai’s, Merry Moo, Sunrise Buckets, Tokyo Tempura, among others.
