The Department of Trade and Industry announced that Moderna, Maxeon Solar Technologies, Atento, Analog Devices, and Optum are set to invest in the country.
Moderna will establish a shared service facility for pharmacovigilance, the only one of its kind in Asia and the third in the world, while Maxeon Solar Technologies plans to bring its latest technology, Max7, to the Philippines, enabling the production of the world’s most advanced solar cells.
Atento will set up a call center in Iloilo Business Park, while Analog Devices will open a research and development center, and Optum will invest P800 million in health information management services operations in Davao.
The Ayalas’ IMI also signed a deal with Zero Motorcycles for the assembly of its units in the country.
