Lalamove Philippines reminded the public that it is not licensed to transport people.
It issued the statement after people tried to book themselves as items for delivery due to the difficulty of getting a ride to their destination amid the holiday rush.
“Our Lalamove Bossings have the right to refuse since this is illegal and is not allowed on our platform,” it said.
“Let us help each other by allowing our partner drivers to focus on fulfilling your Christmas rush deliveries,” Lalamove added.
