Inspiring young minds: Go Negosyo and DepED’s entrepreneurship advocacy

Celebrating its 18th anniversary, GoNegosyo is teaming up with the Department of Education to advance entrepreneurship among the youth.

Founder Joey Concepcion took to Facebook to announce the collaboration, expressing his enthusiasm for this new advocacy.

In his announcement, he stated, “During the celebration of the 18th anniversary of Go Negosyo yesterday, we signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Education, represented by Vice President and DepED Secretary Sara Duterte, on the promotion of entrepreneurship among the youth.”

Joey detailed that the program encompasses lessons and seminars designed to foster business and entrepreneurship among students.

“It entails the implementation of programs that aim to promote entrepreneurial mindset among Filipino youth, build skills through mentorship, increase financial literacy, raise agricultural awareness, cultivate agricultural entrepreneurial skills, and facilitate industry connections for mentorship. Among the programs listed under the MOA is Youthpreneur, a public entrepreneurship mentoring event that Go Negosyo successfully launched last week,” he said.
