Money transfer firm I-Remit of the family of businessman Ben Tiu is beefing up its remittance services with the introduction of a new mobile platform.
Called iCASH, the mobile application is available to the public starting today.
iCASH is a financial app that allows users to send money from the Philippines to countries around the world.
It also gives users access to e-load, bills payment, bank transfer, as well as fund transfer between iCASH wallets.
I-Remit, which is regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), operates in 24 countries and territories worldwide through a combined network of branches and tie-ups.
The BSP in 2019 approved I-Remit’s request to operate as an electronic money issuer.
I-Remit saw its net loss expand in the nine months ended September to P340.7 million from the only P96.7 million in the same period last year as revenues declined by 28.5 percent due to lower service fees.
