Philippine coconut exporters raked in $6.9 million at the THAIFEX-Anuga Asia 2023 trade exhibition, a five-day event held from May 21 to 27, 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand.
“The Philippines’ participation in THAIFEX-Anuga Asia has opened doors for expanding our market reach and solidifying our reputation as a trusted source of high-value coconut products,” stated Trade Promotion Group (TPG) Officer-in-Charge, Assistant Secretary Glenn G. Peñaranda.
He highlighted the support received from the International Trade Center’s ARISE Plus Philippines Project that allowed Philippine coconut exporters to showcase their premium offerings.
The exhibition in Bangkok served as a platform for showcasing the Philippines as a dependable and premium coconut product supplier.
Nine coconut exporters and two industry associations presented their high-value coconut products.
The participating companies included AG Pacific Nutriceuticals Corporation, Ahya Coco Organic Food Manufacturing Corp., Amazing Foods Corp., Amparitas Food Products Manufacturing, Cocoplus Aquarian Development Corporation, Dignity Products & Services Inc., Pasciolco Agri Ventures, Wellness Care International Corporation, and Vegetari Vegetarian Products.
Recognized as a premier international trade show in Asia, THAIFEX has played a vital role in establishing valuable connections and enhancing exhibitors’ understanding of market demands and distribution routes that impact the coconut industry.
