EU Ambassador to the Philippines Luc Vernon shared some photos of the President of the European Council Charles Michel’s encounter with President Bongbong Marcos on the sidelines of the ASEAN Summit 2022 in Cambodia.
According to Vernon, Michel is looking forward to receiving Marcos at the ASEAN-EU meeting in Brussels next month.
The DFA confirmed that the President is attending the APEC summit in Thailand as well as the ASEAN-EU Meeting in Brussels which is expected to tackle free trade between the two regions.
