Dutch firm Ampleon, a global manufacturer of radio frequency (RF) power products, reaffirmed its strong confidence in the Philippines as a business destination.
Ceferino Rodolfo, the managing head of the Board of Investments (BOI), recently held a meeting with Ampleon CEO Vincent Gerritsma to discuss the company’s ongoing operations in the country and gain insights on the Philippine investment climate and recent incentives regime.
During the meeting, Gerritsma cited several factors that influenced their decision to do business in the Philippines, including the availability of young, skilled, and highly trainable talent, competitive labor costs within the ASEAN region, and geopolitical stability. He also shared valuable experiences of operating inside an economic zone.
Gerritsma also offered invaluable insights on strengthening the incentives regime and enhancing the country’s competitiveness in the electronics and semiconductor industries.
