Singapore-based logistics innovator, Mober Technology Pte. Inc., has secured $2 million in additional funding to accelerate its ambitious expansion plans for its electric vehicle (EV) fleet.
The green-focused logistics company is making strides in sustainable transportation solutions and is poised to substantially boost its EV fleet to meet growing demand.
Dennis Ng, the founder and CEO of Mober, made the announcement regarding this substantial funding injection. Mober is currently in possession of 40 electric vehicle units and plans to add 60 more units this year, bringing the total fleet size to 100.
Mober’s ambitious target is to bolster its EV fleet to 300 units by 2024.
Ng said the company is already in the final stages of negotiations for an additional round of funding, ranging from $3 million to $5 million, which will provide further momentum for its expansion plans.
Mober recently unveiled its flagship electric vehicle charging hub located in Pasay City, designed primarily to serve IKEA.
With plans to establish a network of charging stations spanning the distance from Pasay City all the way to Tacloban in the North, with stations strategically positioned every 150-200 kilometers.
Mober’s client portfolio includes industry leaders such as SM Appliance Center, Nestle Philippines, Nespresso, and Unilever, all of which share a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.
