Google Philippines has initiated a new training initiative aimed at enhancing the digital skills of local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) while expanding their potential in the global export market.
Known as the Digital Export Enablement Program (DEEP), this project is a collaborative effort involving Google Philippines, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the International Trade Centre (ITC), and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
DEEP comprises a comprehensive two-day workshop and seminar designed to empower entrepreneurs with valuable knowledge and skills in utilizing Google’s tools to enhance their digital presence. The program also covers a wide range of topics, including trade opportunities, market access conditions, trade finance options, Incoterms, digital marketing, and e-commerce.
Bernadette Nacario, country director of Google Philippines, emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting the success of small business owners by providing them with essential digital tools and opportunities through initiatives like DEEP.
