Colourette founder and CEO Nina Ellaine Cabrera couldn’t help but express her disappointment over the country’s airports.

She cited some of the many reasons why airports in the Philippines have been darn bad for far too many travellers, both local and foreign. But, since there are too many to mention, she let her followers join in.
1. Going in the airport is a hassle. For terminal 3 specifically, you’d have to put all your maleta through an x-ray at the entrance. And sa atin lang yung naexperience ko na pasahero lang pwede pumasok sa entrance.

2. Check-in lines are too long. Kahit 2 hours before ka dumating, it’ll take you an average of 30-45 mins to get into check in or even just bag drop. Madalas yung bag drop di rin gumagana so walang silbi yung online check in.

As expected, many of her followers also expressed their frustration.
Our airports are all terrible. If your fight gets delayed, you have nothing to do but sit there. No decent places to eat and there’s minimal space to move around.
We have all these terminals but nothing to show for.
Also, our immigration officers are rude to us and tourists.

Just left last Dec 12. I have to pay 400php for someone to put it on the xray until the line for the check-in. Humingi p ng pamasko. Kala ko may gagawin p after ayun pla iiwan lang kami s checkin. (Btw) im flying with 2 kids with 6 baggage) kaya need tlga ng help.
