The media officer of the son of bilyonaryo Isidro Consunji has been caught in a police entrapment for consummated qualified theft.
A Babbler said Lana Faith Operana Johnson, marketing and public relations head at Victor Consunji Development Corp., was detained on November 11 after getting caught in an entrapment operation conducted by the Taguig City Police led by PLT Wilfredo Tanquerido Jr. and PCOL Robert R. Baesa.
The 38-year old was caught red handed with P82,500 entrapment money after issuing a “falsified receipt” for the payment by the construction company to the complainant, Bernabe Mendoza.
Johnson, who owns a boutique PR Johnson and Associates, was featured in an article by Tatler Philippines last February for her “evening skin care routine.”
In an interview with Manila Bulletin Lifestyle section two months ago, Johnson said: “You can make a difference in any industry you are in when you have the right intentions, discipline, and support.”
In a 2019 interview, People Asia described Johnson as “one of the country’s most sought after publicists having worked with the country’s biggest brands and names, including VConsunji Inc., Bobbi Brown, AirAsia BIG, Steph Zubiri-Crespi and Denise Laurel, to name a few.”
She told PeopleAsia: “In our view, PR is about being authentic because every person has an inspiring story to tell and we just have to find one that the public can connect with.”
Interestingly, the same People Asia article, “Running and ruling: Women entrepreneurs to inspire you today”, also featured Victor’s estranged wife, Maggie Wilson, and her interior design company, Casa Consunji.
