The British Council has opened five new official language testing centers in the Philippines to make them more accessible to a larger number of people.
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is widely recognized by hundreds of global institutions as the most popular English language proficiency test.
Through partnerships with the Center for Premier International Language Studies, Roman Canadian Immigration Services, and 9.0 Niner IELTS Review Center, the British Council is set to open test centers in Cebu City, Imus, Lipa, Makati, and Manila.
The goal is to accommodate a greater number of individuals who wish to take the test and provide them with options for test administration, including computer-based testing or the traditional pen and paper method.
Pen and paper tests are available two to three times a month in Metro Manila and once a month in key cities, while computer-based tests offer daily schedules and greater flexibility.
CPILS serves as the British Council’s partner in Cebu City, where it exclusively operates as the official IELTS test center.
The 9.0 Niner IELTS Review Center has established test centers in Imus, Cavite, and Lipa, Batangas.
