Archipelago Labs (A-Labs) has commenced its second round of incubation program applications for tech startups.
A-Labs recently unveiled the chosen five startups from a competitive pool of over 100 applicants across the country during the inaugural demo day of the ALAB Incubation program.
The selected startups include Synthillate, a fintech venture converting intellectual property into financial assets, Ridge, an AI-driven platform optimizing operations for the food and beverage industry, Gamer Points, an ad tech integrated platform for earning rewards through gaming, Nexhire, a talent marketplace for next-gen jobs, and Twine, which leverages AI to monetize personalities within social circles.
These five standout startups, featured in the demo day, are positioned to secure funding of up to P1 million.
The culmination of a 12-week program granted participants access to mentorship, advisory, open office sessions, and networking opportunities. The startups honed their business models over the course of the program, aiming to attract interest from over 50 investors who were part of the initiative.
A-Labs executive director Lance Pormarejo highlighted the program’s goal to nurture groundbreaking innovations that will shape the local tech industry’s future.
